Peloria recognizes the need to address ethical issues attached to the use of artificial intelligence, including privacy, misuse of information, data sovereignty, inequality, and bias.

Peloria’s internal Ethics and Rights-based approach informs its identification of potential risk assocaited with any approach, the scope to mitigate and manage that risk, and the weighing of residual risk (risk that cannot be mitigated or managed) with the risk of non-engagement. This approach was developed with the generous engagement of a Preliminary Ethics Oversight Board consisting of Lord Robin Butler, Prince Zeid bin Ra’ad, and Dr. Comfort Ero.
