Isabella Pacheco Morun
Research Associate
Isabella has over a decade of experience in fostering strategic partnerships and driving financial success for companies and organizations, all while championing sustainability. Her career began with marketing collaborations with renowned beverage brands like Diego. Later, she transitioned to roles overseeing procurement of raw materials, product development, export operations, and distribution in Latin America for household names such as Welch’s, Wise Snacks, and Coca-Cola, providing her with a holistic understanding of the industry. Her tenure in the agriculture and food production sector, particularly in international development with organizations like Fairtrade International and companies like Starbucks and Mars, has fueled her passion for making a positive impact on the environment and the livelihoods of farmers around the world. She contributed to developing and advancing standards in living income, gender equality, child protection, food availability, and regenerative agriculture for high-risk commodities such as coffee and cocoa. This work extended across Latin America, Africa, and South Asia, including efforts to establish a minimum sale price for cocoa, which was adopted by the government of Côte d’Ivoire. Coming from a family of farmers herself, Isabella is dedicated to enhancing the conditions for small-scale farmers and nurturing our planet’s health, one hectare at a time.
