Asad Azhar
Data Scientist
Asad Azhar is a development practitioner whose work bridges public health, governance, and international development. He began his career with the Government of Punjab in Pakistan, contributing to a wide range of public health programs as well as initiatives in the provincial energy sector. He later earned a Master’s in International Development from Georgetown University, where he worked on projects examining migration and conflict dynamics in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Asad has also collaborated with teams in Rwanda, Kenya, and the DRC on issues of tax, fiscal, and social policy.
With a background in finance and applied experience across sectors, he is particularly interested in how data-driven approaches can inform policy and practice around migration, refugees, conflict, and resilience.
