Finn Wentworth

Former President of YankeeNets and Co-founder the YES Network

Finn Wentworth is an entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist. His businesses have included commercial real estate, media and sports ventures. He formerly served as President, Board member and Chief Operating Officer of YankeeNets, LLC and co-founded the YES Network (America’s most-watched regional sports network). He also served on the Boards of the National Basketball Association, the New York Yankees (during two world championship victories), the New Jersey Nets (during two Eastern Conference Finals victories) and the New Jersey Devils (who won two Stanley Cups during his tenure).

Mr. Wentworth is the founding partner of Maple Partners, a private equity firm. He founded, and was managing principal, of Normandy Real Estate Partners, which was sold in 2020 to Columbia Property Trust. Mr. Wentworth served on Columbia’s Board of Directors until its 2021 sale to Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO).

Mr. Wentworth’s philanthropic leadership has variously included the co-founding, chairmanship, Board of Trustees membership, and/or board treasurership of the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund, the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center, the Atlantic Health System, the Geraldine Rockefeller Dodge Foundation, the Yogi Berra Museum, the New Jersey Hall of Fame, the Nantucket Community Foundation, and ACDevco. Amongst recognition of this work Mr. Wentworth has received the NAIOP Lifetime Achievement Award and induction into the NJBIZ Hall of Fame. He holds a degree in Marketing from Lehigh University where he is a former University Trustee.
