Murugarj Odiathevar

Muru has a background in Mathematics and Statistics. He is a Data Scientist and has worked as a Teacher and a Software Engineer. His recent work has been on detecting anomalous objects and events in images and videos. His research interest is in statistical modelling of data and building machine learning pipelines for various tasks. He holds a BSc.(Hons) in Mathematics and Minor in Statistics from National University of Singapore, MSc. in Mathematics from King’s College London and PhD in Engineering from Victoria University of Wellington (New Zealand).
