Dr. Telesphore Kaboré

Social Scientist

Telesphore holds a Doctorate of Community and Public Health from Sefako Makgatho University in South Africa and a Master’s in Social Development from the Université of Abomey-Calavi, Benin Republic. Over the past three decades, he has applied social science methods to work with communities, national governments, and global partners in more than 40 countries, including six years in Parakou, Northern Benin, leading initiatives that brought together local leaders, government officials, and citizens to address development priorities and strengthen social accountability. His work in Benin and across West Africa has centered on using social science research and analysis to design practical solutions for governance, social cohesion, and quality service delivery. Currently an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University, he brings deep local knowledge and proven experience in applying social science to government planning.
